Studies
The research-oriented Bachelor (B.Sc.) degree program of the Faculty of Medicine teaches the necessary medical and scientific basics, e.g. chemistry, physics, physiology, biochemistry and neuroanatomy, as well as more in-depth neuroscience modules, e.g. neuroanatomy of rodentia and cognitive neuroscience. In the fourth semester, students complete a research internship (6 months) at an institute or company of their choice. This enables students to learn neuroscientific methods in a practical setting.
The Master's program is an interfaculty/interdisciplinary discovery-orientated degree program of the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, which enables the students to specialize in the field of Experimental and Clinical Neurosciences on a modularized basis.
